Division 5
It’s two wins and two defeats for our Division 5 team this year as they went down to Mohill on Sunday morning last in a competitive game. A crucial goal for the visitors proved the difference. St Mary’s are next on the list in Dromod on Sunday morning at 11.30am

The Ladies team, once again under the management of Jonathan Duffy, got their season underway when they faced Dromahair on Sunday morning last in Annaduff, with the North Leitrim side running out 4-10 to 2-2 victors.

We retained the Club of the Year award for the second successive year in Manorhamilton on Saturday night last and there were also county titles for the Question Time team and Louise Staunton in Recitation. Well done to everyone who took part in 2007. The club was one of the few represented in all eight disciplines and this is quite an achievement in itself. We’d also like to thank all those who helped out in any way over the last couple of months in the preparation of teams for the competition, to John Geary and Mary Cassidy for supplying music for our dancers and in particular to our efficient and dedicated Scor officer, Martina Hackett.
The Bornacoola competitors on Saturday night were in Rince Fóirne (Figure Dancing) – Niamh Ní Raghnaill, Sarah Ní hAicéid, Therese Ní Seanlaíoch, Orlaith Nic Aonghusa, Emma Mofféid, Edel Bean Uí Mealláin agus Jillian Ní Duigeannáin; Aithriseoireacht (Recitation): Louise Nic an Mhíle, Tráth na gCeist (Question Time): Aodhán O Dochartaigh, Feargal Mac a Ghoill agus Liam O Coinín, Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music) – Deirdre Bn Uí Maolagáin, Sharon Bn Uí Sheoin agus Feargal Mac a Ghoill; Balléad Grúpa (Ballad Group) – Seán Mac Raghnaill, Martina Bn Uí hAicéid, Deirdre Bn Uí Maolagáin, Sharon Bn Uí Sheoin agus Orlaith Ní Buacháin; Nuachleas (Novelty Act) Deaglán Ó Conbhuí, Brian agus Caomhín Ó Mealláin, Máire Bn Uí Mealláin (Snr) agus Aine Máire Bn Uí Bhaoill agus sa Rince Seit (Set Dancing): Martina Bn Uí hAicéid, Máire Bn Uí Mealláin, Lorraine Bn Uí Raghnaill, Philomena Ní Maolagáin, Seán “Barnes” Ó Seanlaíoch, Seán Mac Raghnaill, Peadar Ó Mealláin agus Seoirse Mac Raghnaill.

U-16 League
The Ul-16 team were in action over the past few weeks. Defeats to both Mohill and Annaduff have meant a difficult start to the season for the boys but hopefully there are better days ahead.
