Senior Championship
Aughawillan were our opposition in the quarter finals of the championship on Saturday last and in a very close game David O Connor’s first half goal proved to be the decisive score as we held on for a four point victory despite a great second half from the Willies. In the second game in Cloone, Mohill proved too strong for Sean O Heslins, setting up a semi-final meeting with Bornacoola in what will be an eagerly awaited derby clash.
The team and scorers on Saturday was: Feargal Mc Gill, Damian Mc Guinness, Morgan Shanley, Jason Conroy, Daniel Canning, John Mc Guinness, Shane Conroy, Gary Mc Closkey, Michael Duignan (0-2), Mark Mc Closkey (0-4), Colm Farrell (0-3), Jonathan Duffy (0-1), Brian Conroy (0-1), David O Connor (1-0) and Trevor Howard (0-1). Senior Championship
The Senior team are playing Aughawillan at the weekend in the quarter finals of the Masonite Senior championship in Cloone. Aughawillan were good value for their recent victory over Annaduff in the championship and will pose a very significant test as Bornacoola attempt to make the semi-finals for the second year running. Support for the team last year was one of the key factors in our Championship run and vocal and colourful Bornacoola support at the weekend could again be vital. Best of luck to all concerned.

Harvest Day Festival
Well done to all involved in the organisation of the Harvest Day Festival in Rooskey on Sunday last. As always it was a tremendous success.
