U-14 Final
Our U-14 team played Aughnasheelin in the U-14 final in Carrick on Sunday evening last. The Aughnasheelin boys were red hot favourites to secure the title, having enjoyed a comfortable victory over Bornacoola in the earlier rounds. However, the Bor youngsters played with pride, passion and flair on Sunday afternoon and were only cruelly denied by a last minute goal. Our congratulations to a fine Aughnasheelin team on their victory but well done also to the Bornacoola lads and coaches Noel Mc Closkey and Seamus Mallon who did their parish proud and ended an excellent season for them with probably their best performance to date. The club also want to express their thanks to the parents of all the lads who have been available to bring them to games all over the county this year and have offered great support throughout the year.
The Bornacoola panel at U-14 this year was Shane Sullivan, Kieran Campbell, Barry Reid, Sean Muldowney, Conor Hackett, Mark Muldowney, Kevin Shanley, Ronan Mulligan, Liam Mulligan, Feargal Hackett, Ian Mulligan and Karl Mallon.

Division 5

Our Division 5 team completed their league campaign in fine style on Sunday last as they carved out a 1-10 to 0-9 victory over Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher to ensure they finish the year as table toppers in this Division. They now have the prospect of Division 4 football to look forward to next year as well as the Division 5 league final and the chance of some silverware. It has been an excellent year at this level, in which the team have won 11 of the 12 league games they have played.

Senior Championship
The Senior Championship gets underway on Saturday next as we play Aughawillan in Cloone in a game that will have a 7.30pm throw-in. The game will be preceded by the meeting of our neighbours Annaduff and Drumreilly. Our thanks to Tulsk for their hospitality and a very useful workout on Sunday last and our best wishes to the team as they bid for Championship glory.

U-16 Championship
The U-16 team get their championship campaign underway on Friday evening as they face Cloone in Dromod at 7pm. This year the boys are in the 9-a-side competition in a group that also includes Aughnasheelin and Gortletteragh.

Minor Championship
The Minor team face Melvin Gaels in a must win championship encounter this Wednesday evening. Thus far the boys have suffered defeat to Drumkeerin but recorded a good win over Carrigallen. Victory over Melvin Gaels will ensure progression to the next round.
