Senior Championship
All roads lead to Pairc Sean on Sunday evening as we face Melvin Gaels in the Senior Championship quarter final at 6.30pm. Best of luck to manager Noel Crossan and all the boys involved.

Junior Championship
The Junior team sealed their passage to the quarter finals with an exciting one point victory over Leitrim Gaels on Saturday last in Annaduff. An excellent first half display, which saw the Bors lead by two points at half time despite playing into a strong wind, set the tone for the game. Leitrim Gaels battled strongly throughout the second half, but fine displays from Ollie Vaughan and substitute Damian Moran had the Bors four points clear with time running out. A late goal for the Gaels led to some nervous moments in the closing minutes, but ultimately the Bors held on for victory by 0-12 to 1-8.
Team was: Feargal Mc Gill, Gerald Moffatt, John Reynolds, John Shanley, Brendan Duignan, Damian Mc Guinness, Niall Mc Gowan, Feargal Howard, Paul Hackett, Jonathan Duffy, Mark Mc Closkey, John Bohan, Aiden Reilly, Bobby Shanley and Oliver Vaughan. Subs: Mervyn Howard, Sean Ryan, Damian Moran.

Ladies Football
The Ladies team played Mohill in the Intermediate Championship on Sunday morning last with the town team running out comfortable winners.

U-16 Championship
The U-16 team play Kiltubrid on Friday evening next in Kiltubrid at 7pm.

Congratulations
Our Congratulations to Derek “Digger” Duignan who became the latest Bornacoola player to get engaged over the weekend. Derek has been in Australia for the last number of years where he met fiancée Renea who has been to Bornacoola on a number of occasions and left a huge impression on us all. Everyone at the club send their best wishes to the couple and by all accounts the Aer Lingus website went into meltdown on Saturday as the Bors began booking the flights for the big day. This latest news may finally bring an end to the infamous Adventures of Diggerman! Our best wishes to you both.
