Scór
A great night for Leitrim at the Connacht Finals of Scór in Manorhamilton on Saturday night last with five of the Leitrim teams qualifying for the All Ireland finals in Killarney on April 26th. Our own Louise Staunton in Recitation was very unlucky not to make it a sixth qualifier from Leitrim, but our Tráth na gCeist team of Aiden Dockery, Liam Rabbitte and Feargal Mc Gill earned their second Connacht title in a row and another chance at All Ireland glory. Other Leitrim winners included the Figure Dancers of Glencar/Manorhamilton, the musicians from Leitrim Gaels, the Sean O Heslin’s Novelty Act and St Mary’s Ballad Group. A special word of congratulations to Laura Crossan – daughter of our new manager Noel, who was part of the St Mary’s group. Best of luck to all of the Leitrim participants in the All Ireland finals.
