Brendan Stenson R.I.P
The sympathies of the Club are extended to the Stenson family in Clonturk on the passing of Brendan last week. Brendan played football for Bornacoola, winning a county minor championship medal when he lined out at corner back for the club in the 1948 final victory and indeed his sons also turned out regularly in the Bornacoola colours. He was also a noted handballer and musician. To his wife Maureen and children Mary Brigid, Francis, Michael Patrick, and Tommy Joe and to his extended family we extend our deepest sympathies.
