Our congratulations to Dermot Shanley (Clonboney) and his new wife Edel (Duignan) who were married on Saturday last and celebrated with their friends at a reception in the Landmark Hotel. Dermot has been a stalwart of many Bornacoola teams over the years and holds medals at all underage grades as well as Junior League and championship awards. Edel’s family are involved with the Eslin GAA club and we wish this popular couple long life and happiness together.

Engagement
It was a busy week for Junior star Brian Reilly – not only did he feature in both the Junior A and Junior C league games at the weekend, he also found time to get engaged to Grainne Sheridan from Co Longford. Congratulations to you both.
