The Return of the DiggerMan
The Diggerman, occasionally known as Derek Duignan has returned to Bornacoola for a couple of weeks from Australia where he has been “working” for the last two years. Good to see him back with a new head of hair and we might even get him to a training session or two before his return. Sister Orla gets married on Thursday and we send our best wishes to her and Australian husband to be Mark Harrington for long life and happiness together.

Bon Voyage
Our best wishes to club stalwart and occasional Division 5 star Michael Patrick Stenson who takes up a new position with the Irish Embassy in Moscow for the next twelve months. Son of Brendan and Maureen (Cloonturk) Michael’s appointment is a major honour for himself, his family and the parish and we have no doubt that he will thrive in his new surrounds. If you hear of “Moscow Gaels” changing colours to the Black and Amber, you’ll know who to blame! Gach dea-ghuí ort a Mhichíl ó gach éinne a bhfuil baint acu leis an gclub.

Ladies
The Ladies team were beaten in the league by Glencar/Manorhamilton at the weekend

Seamus Canning RIP
All at the club would like to extend their sympathy to the Canning family (Mohill) on the sad passing of Seamus last week. A great supporter of the Bors throughout his life, many’s the Championship victory went into overtime in the Faul Inn during Seamus’ stewardship of the establishment. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a Anam.
