Scór Sinsear
Pride of place this week goes to our Scór winners in the in the Connacht final of Scór Sinsear on Sunday night last in Tubbercurry, Co Sligo . With the club representing Leitrim in three disciplines, we secured two Connacht titles in Recitation and Question Time. Aidan Dockery performed to his usual high standard to win the recitation.
Our Question time team matched his feat and won the title after a tie-breaker round and well done to the team of Aidan Dockery, Liam Rabbitte and Marie Therese Dockery who deputised for the absent Feargal McGill.
Despite a lively display from our Set Dancing team of Philomena Mulligan, John Reynolds, Martina Hackett, Seoirse Reynolds, Mary Mallon , John Shanley, Lorraine Reynolds and Peter Mallon, the title went to a very polished Roscommon team.
Hopefully they will return stronger next year. Also, well done to the Ballad group from Aughnasheelin and Figure dancing team from Glencar/Manor on winning Connacht titles. We wish Aidan and the Question time team the best of luck in the All-Ireland finals in Killarney in early April.

The winners in the club draw held in The Bridge on Saturday night were €100 M Hester c/o Fionnuala Howard, €20 Philomena Doyle c/o Mary Mallon, Orla Sheehan, Chris Gavigan, Joe O’Gorman and Orla Bohan.
