An early goal in the first five minutes set the tone for an entertaining game and while the Bors led throughout, Carrigallen never gave up and were unlucky on a couple of occasions not to hit the net with Bornacoola goalkeeper Harry Comiskey in excellent form. Players and scorers as follows; Harry Comiskey, Sean Ryan, Roy Keenan, Kevin Canning, Damian McGowan, Damian Moran, Paul Hackett 1-0, Niall O’Connor 0-1, David Mulligan 0-1, Sean McKeon 0-4, Mervin Howard 0-1,Alan Croghan1-1, Darren McGushin sub used Alan Bohan. Next game is away to Sean O Heslins in Ballinamore on Sunday at 12 noon.
