Minor Championship Final
The Minor team had a great battle with Glenfarne before emerging victorious in a tight 9-a-side minor final last week. Well done to Jackie, Brian and the lads. Full report to follow next week. The lads are involved again tonight as they play Fenagh in the league semi-final.

Senior Championship
The senior team have qualified for the county semi final after a fine victory over Glencar/Manorhamilton in Pairc Sean on Saturday evening last. Although the North Leitrim team dominated the first half, they were unable to turn their territorial superiority into scores and an early second half goal from Brian Conroy set up a semi-final meeting in a fortnight’s time with neighbours Gortletteragh on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-6. The team on Saturday was: Feargal Mc Gill, Damian Mc Guinness, Seamus Mallon, John Mc Guinness, Jason Conroy, Colm Farrell, Shane Conroy, Michael Duignan (0-2), Gary Mc Closkey, Philip Howard, Trevor Howard (0-2), David O Connor, Brian Conroy (1-4), Mark Mc Closkey (0-3) and Jonathan Duffy. Sub used Robert Moran.

Cáirde Barr na Cúille
There are only a handful of places left in Cáirde Barr na Cúille (Friends of Bornacoola) for 2005. Membership costs €200 and is available from Shane Reynolds at 087 9751993 or Feargal Mc Gill 087 2897608. Those involved will be entered in a draw with a top prize of €2000, 2nd prize of €600 and 3rd prize €400 and will also receive a Bornacoola GAA Car sticker.

Junior C Championship
The 3rd team had a difficult tie against Drumreilly on Sunday. Despite another promising performance, we fell to a 1-15 to 1-7 defeat. All is not lost though and with two games remaining in the group semi-final qualification is still a possibility

Auction
Don’t forget the Monster Auction in the Weir Lodge Rooskey on this Sunday at 3pm with all proceeds in aid of Bornacoola GAA Club. If you have anything in particular to contribute, you can contact any club member who will ensure that it is included on Sunday. Already there are many interesting items going under the hammer, so if you have a few hours to spare on Sunday, there should be something for every taste on show.

Ladies Football
The Ladies were in Championship action on Sunday against a very strong Kiltubrid team. A poor start was to cost us dearly and despite a brave second half rally, Kiltubrid held on for a deserved victory.

Club Merchandise
BornacoolaUnderage kits (for 7 to 12 year olds) are available to purchase from the club at the moment. A full set comprising of jersey, togs and socks in the Bornacoola colours is available for €46. Anyone interested should contact Chairman Tom Duignan or the relevant underage trainers.

Club Draw
The Club draw takes place this Saturday night in the Copper Still. Music on the night as always
